Machinist (Day Shift) – Sparks

Local Carson City Manufacturing Company is looking for an experienced Set-up Machinist for their Day Shift.

The position requires an individual to do set-up's and operates all gear machines to perform various machining functions.

Functions:
Reads & interprets blueprints & related technical data
Prepares, pre-sets and installs all required tooling
Sets required work piece fixtures
Loads/unloads & inspects production parts
Adjusts machine controls to maintain or correct part tolerances

Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Experince & skilled in machining techniques
Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
